GPP Intensive and Dealing with Life Problems.

Wow. What a weekend.

I don’t even know where to start with my thoughts about this weekend.

We had another GPP Intensive course starting on Friday night and wrapped up on Sunday afternoon. We met with about 15 people to discuss and teach GPP philosophy. We go over everything GPP, from what GPP is, why we are different, to movements, programming, nutrition, how to conduct a workout and more!

I think everyone and anyone could benefit from an intensive. Those who have attended in the past can testify that it is an eye-opening and amazing experience. I feel privileged to be part of it, to learn and grow from each one.

When the intensive finished this afternoon a few of us went to lunch! We went for sushi and I enjoyed every bite! I have come to the conclusion that I am CLUELESS when it comes to ordering sushi. I don’t know what, what is and can’t even eat with chopsticks.

Don’t judge me.

I always enjoy myself though and think it is fun to order something and be surprised with whatever shows up on my plate.

I had a personal trial and sick kids and husband this weekend also, I don’t want to go into much detail about it, but Keri, a girl that came to the intensive was talking to us at lunch today, and explained about how if you feel GUILT, then you are probably dwelling in the past. If you are anxious you are worried about the future. She reminded me to live in the present, enjoy and take notice to more things around me, NOW. What has happened in the past, just happened. I can’t control it, I can’t dwell on it, I can’t change it. Quit worrying and focus on the NOW.

What an amazing concept. It hit me hard. I have a hard time letting go of some things, but it is usually always a painful process and it does in turn just waste time. I’m going to better myself by accepting the past and moving on.

I kind of made it up as I went along and didn’t measure (minimum dishes) or follow any recipe.Surprisingly they worked out great.

I have to prepare a few things for the exciting upcoming week! I have kids classes starting again tomorrow! Can’t wait to see these kids again!
